Dave Phillips is the founder and President of Children's Hunger Fund. Since 1991, Children's Hunger Fund has distributed more than $500 million in aid, bringing hope to children in more than 70 countries worldwide.

Dave has been active in community service work in the Los Angeles area since graduating from Westmont College in 1984. From 1984 to 1991, Dave served as Director of Operations for World Opportunities International, an international relief organization located in Hollywood, California. There, he developed a food program servicing over 350 agencies, distributing an average of 2.4 million pounds of food each month to poor families in South Central Los Angeles.

In 2004, CHF distributed over $78 Million in humanitarian aid to needy children and families across America and around the world. Dave is proud that CHF’s operating costs are well below 1% of its total revenue.

Tim Kirk serves as the Vice President of Ministry Operations, which is the department that maintains all of the logistic and operational tasks that enable CHF to direct products to the needy across America and around the world.

Stewardship is the guiding principle in Ministry Operations. They take personal responsibility to care for and handle appropriately what God allows them to work with.

Mark Rodriguez serves as the Executive Director of Ministry Development.  Ministry Development accomplishes the overall purpose of CHF through the establishment of quality ministry partnerships and the creation and maintenance of appropriate ministry programs and projects.

The Ministry Development team is responsible for overseeing CHF ministry outcomes as it relates to recipients.

Paul Ackerman serves as the Executive Director of Resource Development, which works with corporations, individuals and churches to help them share their resources with the children CHF serves.

By building relationships with those who can help, the Resource Development team is able to direct resources to where they are needed most.
