Learn about Food Paks
International Ministry
It is no secret that poverty, malnutrition, and disease are prevailing issues in the daily lives of millions of children worldwide. A staggering 6 million children die each year due to hunger related issues. The need is overwhelming.

Since Children's Hunger Fund launched in 1991, we have responded to the needs of children suffering in poverty all over the world by focusing on one child, one family at a time. In developing nations, the simple gift of a box of food delivered by a caring volunteer can mean the difference between despair and joy for a suffering child.

To do this, CHF forms partnerships with local ministries that share our passion. Through those ministries we have formed networks of churches located in areas where the need is most prevalent. These Mercy Networks are able to reach out into the communities they serve and provide ongoing help to the children and families suffering there. Mercy Network churches are trained by CHF's Compassion Institute in the essentials of compassion ministry to meet the needs of the poor in effective and relational ways.

Currently, CHF supplies Mercy Networks in the following countries:

o  Guatemala
o  Peru
o  Mexico [Baja]
o  Dominican Republic
o  Haiti
o  Mexico City
o  Ghana
o  Uganda
o  Rwanda
o  Zimbabwe
o  Thailand

As CHF grows, we encounter new opportunities to build Mercy Networks in nations around the world. We are currently developing relationships in other countries in the hopes of launching future Mercy Networks.

In addition to CHF's Mercy Networks, we also supply other global ministries with products and support to help them meet the needs of suffering children. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside organizations like Global Aid Network (GAiN) and Samaritan's Purse among others.
